Not everyone can have an extension that can be flooded with light. This doesn’t mean that they simply have to put up with a dull and dim space. It does mean that they need to think about other ways to illuminate the space.

You can choose subtle lighting options, such as LED spotlights and strip lighting. Or, if you want to make a more dramatic choice, then ceiling pendants make for a great look.
Add dramatic touches
Another way to add drama to an extension space is to finish it off with exposed beams and metalwork. These can be changed to match your preferred style (and the rest of your house, should you want to keep it all coordinated). The idea is that they add something extra to your home, and should you want to look up, you will see a part of your extension that is interesting and bold.
