When it comes to building a kitchen extension to your Central London home, the build portion of your project will take between 10-12 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of your extension. Our builders will spend the first week digging the footing of your extension whilst waiting for the main bulk of the materials to arrive.
In the second week they will pour in the foundations before sorting the below ground drainage from weeks three to five. In the fifth week they begin to construct the brick walls of the extension and you will start to see the main body of your new house extension take shape. This will continue through to week seven when they will build the roof structure. For the last few weeks your building team will plaster in the inside of your extension and install the fittings you want in your extension, for example kitchen or bathroom fittings.
Throughout the build process you will be able to contact your dedicated Construction Manager, who oversees the entirety of your build. You can contact them directly, or you can receive updates on your project from our Customer Service team, who are on hand to answer any questions you may have and take action on any concerns you may have on your behalf. Our Customer Service team are in regular contact with our building teams each and every day, so you can rest easy knowing that our builders are being held to the highest level of accountability.
