Rear Kitchen Extension Camberwell, Grove Park

Simply Extend were thrilled to be awarded the contract to carry out this stunning example of a rear kitchen extension for our client on Grove Park, in Camberwell, South London.  Although Simply Extend is primarily a design and build contractor, we were appointed to carry out the build only on this project, as our client already had a set of architectural plans and structural calculations in place.  Our client was also fortunate to have negotiated the party wall agreement process prior to instructing us, saving considerable time.

This meant that the Simply Extend construction team were able to get to work quickly on the project, stripping back the garden and digging the foundations for the new rear extension.  At the back of the property, there was an existing bay window and the design of the new extension meant that one window segment needed to be removed.  The kitchen area was made into an open plan area and a new downstairs toilet and utility room were located off the new hallway. Outside the wall adjoining the new extension was rendered white to match the exterior of the new space.

The finished design and interior specification was flawless, with Crittall styled window and doors installed on the extension, wet underfloor heating included, a roof light and a new kitchen installed.  The new area including the kitchen island is perfect for cooking and entertaining friends and family in.
