Brief: Build a single-storey wrap-around extension to an end-of-terrace house. Create a spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area that transforms the home’s layout functionality.
Simply Extend is proud to have transformed this home with a stunning kitchen and living area extension. Our experienced team worked closely with the client to create a more spacious and functional layout, enhancing their kitchen and living space to meet their needs. The result is a beautifully designed, open-plan kitchen area that not only adds significant space but also elevates the overall look and feel of the home, perfect for everyday living and entertaining.
The kitchen space is a stunning blend of modern design and elegance, featuring sleek grey accents and luxurious marble detailing. At its heart is a spacious kitchen island, complemented by stylish high stools, making it the perfect spot for casual dining or entertaining guests. The combination of grey tones with the rich textures of marble creates a sophisticated atmosphere, making this kitchen a focal point of the home.
Our team installed Velux skylights, transforming the extension into a bright and airy space. These skylights allow an abundance of natural light to flood the open-plan area, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the day. The addition of Velux windows brings a sense of spaciousness and connection to the outdoors, making the kitchen and living area feel even more expansive and welcoming. The roof of the extension is designed with a sleek, pitched structure, adding height to the space.
It was important for our client to have a comfortable chill-out area, which is why a cosy living space with a sofa was designed right next to the kitchen. Positioned conveniently in front of the sofa, a stylish TV provides the perfect focal point for entertainment in the living area. This layout creates the perfect spot to relax and unwind, making the kitchen area a functional space, and welcoming a place for lounging and socialising.
To further enhance the extension, underfloor heating was installed, adding comfort and warmth throughout the space. The project also includes a sleek, modern bathroom and a well-designed utility room, providing both convenience and practicality. These enhancements transform the home into a beautifully modern space for the entire family to enjoy.
This kitchen extension features stunning bifold doors that seamlessly open onto the outside patio, creating a smooth transition between indoor and outdoor living. These elegant doors allow for natural light to stream into the room. This remarkable kitchen extension, combined with a beautifully designed living and dining area, showcases the exceptional craftsmanship of Simply Extend’s skilled building teams. Every detail has been meticulously crafted, reflecting our commitment to quality and excellence.
