Brief: Single-storey rear wrap around to a mid-terrace house not in a conservation area creating a larger kitchen/ diner.

Simply Extend was thrilled to begin work on this mid-terrace house in Ealing, West London. Our surveyors identified that a wrap-around extension was the best option for our client on Elthorne Park Road, Ealing. This maximised space to create a stunning open plan kitchen with a strong connection to the garden. This wrap-around extension transformed this home with a much larger kitchen and dining area.

The kitchen space includes three beautiful, glazed roof panels that bathe the entire kitchen in natural light. The addition of glazed panels improves energy efficiency in your home while also offering a stunning, timeless style. The glazed roof panels are complimented with downlights and three drop down feature lights above the kitchen island for additional lighting. The kitchen island includes a breakfast bar with two stalls for dining and socialising. The island also includes convenient storage space. The fridge has been integrated into the kitchen design for a discreet, stylish finish.

The client decided on a clean, white design with white walls and white kitchen units. This brightens up the space and is the perfect match for the blue feature kitchen island. The white and blue is a timeless colour palette that is stylish and classic. The kitchen is also connected to the living area with an open walkway which makes the space appear much larger.
